In their own words...
"Living on campus is a life experience I have learned so much from. We eat together, watch TV together, study together, and do absolutely nothing together. When I go home for breaks, it's like I'm leaving my second family!"

The 2009-10 academic year was the third in a row in which the band won every competitive event entered in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association. Our 2010 graduates saw tremendous saw tremendous musical growth in the band during their time here. Those graduates enjoyed a great trip as guest band at the Las Vegas Highland Games in 2008 (where they won both days of competition), the opportunity to play in a guest appearance with both The Chieftains and the Celtic fiddle band Leahy as well as many other memorable performances. Each 2010 graduate also saw themselves being elevated two grade levels in their solo competition achievements during their time at St. Andrews - a recognition not to be found often among similar programs. We welcome inquiries from young students who want to combine musical achievement and teamwork with a first-rate college education!

As setting educational and performance goals are always part of our program here at St. Andrews, what more challenging setting could there be than a recording session before a live audience? With the pressure to "get it right" the first time around, this was a great experience for our members. I am very proud of the effort put forth by all members of the band in this concert. With alumni of our program already using skills in teaching, performing, and leading pipe bands (as well as generally achieving in their life pursuits) which they learned and honed here at St. Andrews, I am certain that this group of achievers will likewise do the same in their musical, academic, professional, and personal goals in the future. This group has special memories of their time together, and we all hope that you will share in our enjoyment of music and achievement through this live concert recording.
