Office of Disability Services

The St. Andrews University Office of Disability Services is committed to a simple and efficient process of registering for services affording students with disabilities equitable access to academic programs.

We look forward to meeting you and working with you throughout your Academic career. Our goal in Disability Services is to make your transition to college as effective as possible by helping you access the services that will enable you to be successful in your academic endeavors.

In order to receive academic accommodations at St. Andrews, you must have completed the forms required for services through the Office of Disabilities and have appropriate documentation submitted from the original source. Once everything is submitted, it will be reviewed by this office.

You will be notified on a regular basis if documentation is incomplete. Once your file is complete, you will also be notified. It is at that point that appropriate accommodations will be determined based on submitted documentation. Do note that accommodations at the college level are often different from what may have been provided at the high school level. Accommodations are not automatic. Once your documentation is complete, you must meet with the Coordinator for Disability Services at the beginning of the semester to determine which accommodations are appropriate for you.

Please review the information in this section carefully and submit required documents as soon as possible We would like to have everything in place for you before the academic year begins.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office either by phone or e-mail.
