St. Andrews to welcome admitted students, families to special event

Laurinburg, N.C. - St. Andrews University will welcome students admitted for fall semester 2013 and their families to a special event on Feb. 23.

"We wanted to hold an open house that provided additional information for those students admitted to St. Andrews for the fall semester," said Debbie Bell, assistant director for enrollment management. "It is a chance for them to get a deeper understanding of what St. Andrews has to offer as they make their final decisions about where they will attain their undergraduate education."

One of the activities designed to give a deeper look at the University is a classroom experience with faculty representing the various disciplines offered at St. Andrews. Students will also have the opportunity to speak with current students at St. Andrews while parents will have a special session with the financial aid department. Parents of admitted students will have the chance to speak with current parents.

The day will also provide the students and family members to meet with members of the St. Andrews alumni council and attend the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Western Regional at the Equestrian Center.

St. Andrews will hold an Open House with a focus on high school juniors on April 20. For more information, call 910-277-5555, email inquiries@sapc.edu or visit www.sapc.edu/Admissions/admissi.php.
