In their own words...
"Living on campus is a life experience I have learned so much from. We eat together, watch TV together, study together, and do absolutely nothing together. When I go home for breaks, it's like I'm leaving my second family!"

SAU Music Instructor selected for International Conference

Laurinburg, N.C. – St. Andrews Instructor of Music Sean Moore has been selected to perform an original piece at The College Music Society's (CMS) 2013 International Conference to be held in Buenes Aires, Argentina.

"The selected composition is for solo piano and I plan to perform the work at one of the concerts during the Conference," said Moore.

The piece Tempest (Tango Vals) was selected from more than 200 proposals to the CMS.

"We are certain participants will enjoy a truly memorable professional development experience in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires while savoring an incomparable fusion of multi-ethnic sounds, colors, tastes, languages and culture, which are uniquely Argentinian," said Juan R. Chattah, program chair for the CMS 2013 International Conference. "It promises to be an exciting conference."

Moore came to St. Andrews in 2004 as a music instructor and accompanist for the St. Andrews University Choir. He also serves Trinity Presbyterian Church of Laurinburg as the choir director and organist. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Memphis State University and a Masters in Music from the University of Memphis.
