SAU riders show strong in Raleigh

Six members of the St. Andrews University Equestrian Program traveled to Raleigh over the weekend to compete at the North Carolina Hunter Jumper Association (NCHJA) Show hosted by Triangle Farms.

On Saturday, Catherine McDowell and her horse Mister were the Amateur Owner Division Champions while Sami Cram and Royal were Adult Amateur Division Champions. Alexandra Fullerton was Champion in the Pre-Adult Division with Kali Cram and Ozzie earning Reserve Champion status in the Amateur Hunter Derby.

On Sunday, the success continued with Sami Cram earning first place in Adult Equitation Over Fences, with Kali Cram second, Catherine McDowell fourth and Abi Skillman sixth. In Adult Amateur First Class Over Fences Sami Cram earned second while Regi Barasch was fourth.

In Adult Amateur Second Class Over Fences Barasch earned second place, with Skillman third, and Kali Cram fourth. In Adult Amateur Hack, Sami Cram was second while Skillman was fifth. Sami Cram won the Adult Amateur Division.
