Showing Under the Stars

St. Andrews University riders also competed in a Showing Under the Stars fun competition over the weekend.

“These shows are a great way for the students to show off their riding while having fun and getting involved with the program,” said Heather Wile, event manager and hunt seat riding instructor. “It’s also a great way for the program to get involved in the local community. Part of each student’s entry fee is a non-perishable food item which is donated to the food pantry here in Laurinburg.”

First place finishes were turned in by Michelle Hustad, Jenna Marten, Lindsey Agaliotos, Kali Cram, Keli Van Den Huevel, Tori Burkey, Cami Glaff, Sara Hackney, Kimmy Simonsen, Mia Dipillo, Megan White and Andrea Velez.
