SAPC Dressage enjoys trip to Antares Dressage

Pinehurst, N.C. – Members of the St. Andrews Presbyterian College Dressage Team made a trip to Antares Dressage Sunday for a competition.

Four horses and five riders competed at the training and first level.

“For a couple of the horses it was their first away dressage show since joining the dressage program,” said Coach Jackie Dwelle. “It’s good to get the horses off the farm and ride them in a show setting. They all behaved differently at the show. Nerves, a new setting and a spooky ring are all great tests for our riders.”

Donna Fowble earned third place riding Jake in First Level Test 1 while Katherine Kaltenbach earned fourth in First Level Test 3.

At the Training Level Division Paige Tillison earned fourth riding Marcus, Lauren Parker earned fifth riding Moe and Sarah Kee earned seventh riding Moe.
