Admissions Student Open House Scheduled Saturday at St. Andrews
Laurinburg, N.C. – High schools students interested in attending St. Andrews Presbyterian College are invited to attend an admissions Open House at the college Saturday.
“St. Andrews strongly encourages students and their families to visit our campus through an Open House, private visit or both,” said Cynthia Robinson, vice president for enrollment management. “The visit allows the student and family to learn about our campus, our educational opportunities, extracurricular involvement, campus and community life, and most importantly, a chance to ask any questions.”
One of the special features of this open house is the opportunity for prospective students interested in riding on the Western Team at St. Andrews to ride for the coaches. Pre-registration is required and the student must have an application on file with St. Andrews admissions.
To register for the Open House go to http://www.sapc.edu/Admissions/openhouse/card.php. To utilize the online application for St. Andrews Presbyterian College go to https://www1.cfnc.org/applications/St_Andrews_Presbyterian_College/apply.html.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with registration and a meet and greet with members of the college community. Next comes an information session about St. Andrews that includes presentations by administration, alumni and current student representatives.
Perspective students and their families are then treated to a classroom experience with faculty teaching a session from a current syllabus. Following the classroom session, current students provide a campus tour. Lunch follows in the Knights Dining Hall.
The next Admissions Prospective Student Open House for St. Andrews is scheduled for February 19, 2011.
