Student Activities Union (SAU)
The Student Activities Union is a major organization on campus and is responsible for the coordination and support of the majority of campus entertainment including comedians, musicians, themed weekends such as Luau and Mardis Gras, variety shows, magicians and many more other activities. In addition to putting on campus programs, SAU members have the chance to select the entertainment each semester as well as attend the South Regional Convention of the National Association of Student Activities which has been held in such cities as Charleston, Birmingham, Nashville and Greensboro. The SAU President is elected to the position at the end of each academic year in a campuswide election. He or she is a member of the Student Government Cabinet and also represents the student body in the Student Affairs Committee.
