Social Dance Club

 

The Social Dance Club was created to give St. Andrews community a chance to learn more about the world of dance, learn all ten ballroom dances, meet new people, and to attain skills to last a life time! The various dances include:

  • Mambo

  • Paso Doble

  • Jive

  • Viennese waltz

  • Cha-Cha-Cha

  • Swing

  • Salsa

  • Waltz

  • Tango

  • Samba

The instructor of the club is Claudia Place who has been a professional dance instructor in the Pinehurst area for the last 20 years. She teaches SAPC students at her studio and on campus upon prior arrangement.

The Social Dance Club also hosts a dance every spring. Every dance is themed and there are free lessons the night before.

The club advisor is Jennifer Brunner, and the president is Anthony Fernandez.
