Black Student Union

Some of the members of the BSU Club

The Black Student Union (BSU) educates its members and the college community on the contributions African-Americans and people of African descent have made to the world. It is an organization that strives to bridge the gap between different ethnicities that exist within the St. Andrews campus and aims to serve as a voice for black students on campus and establish a sense of identity, community, and pride. The club helps students develop life-long bonds and members and members get the opportunity to create and atmosphere in which they can help each other to develop both academically and socially within the St. Andrews campus.  The group is involved in many extracurricular activities to show their support both at St. Andrews and in the community, such as volunteering at churches, participating in the "Operation Toy Drive", and more.

The current President of the club is Crystal Olu-Taylor.
