Listen to an album selection - MARCH, STRATHSPEY AND REEL

The 2006-2007 academic year was a memorable one for the St. Andrews Presbyterian College Pipe Band. The band won the EUSPBA Southern Branch Grade III Championship held in April 2006. This qualified the band to represent the South in competition against the other regional qualifiers from throughout the Eastern Untied States. In August, after almost three months apart, the pipe band members returned to campus from summer vacation with the goal of winning the EUSPBA Championship in October. Their hard work and desire to achieve was rewarded when the band won the EUSPBA Grade III Championship at the Anne Arundel Scottish Games in Maryland in October.

As the band is educational in nature and goal-oriented, the decision was made to prepare a concert show for our annual Scottish Heritage Weekend and for alumni and friends who gathered for our 2007 Alumni Weekend and the inauguration of President Paul Baldasare. We also wanted to record this concert as a lasting legacy of the achievements made by this particular group. The band has many great memories of this special year and hopes that you will share in them through enjoyment of this recording.
