Home to the nation's first undergraduate press, St. Andrews College Press continues to encourage the publishing of excellent writing. Check out some of our recent titles as well as preview our upcoming issue of the Cairn, our nationally recognized literary journal, (formerly St. Andrews Review-called by the late Allen Ginsberg, "The best, up-to-date literary magazine since the Black Mountain Review.") as well as Gravity Hill, our undergraduate literary magazine.

The annual Alan Bunn student book awards program annually sees two outstanding St. Andrews student writers honored with publication. It is a blind competition with professional off-campus judges. The award-winning books are published by The Press. Recent judges have included New Directions editor-in-chief Barbara Epler, poets Peter Money, Denver Butson, Theodore Enslin, and Jill Osier, and novelists Edward M. Gomez, Joseph Bathanti and Daphne Athas.
