Trip to Churburg

The last stop on our Vinschgau field trip

 

 

 

CHURBURG is located in the Vinschgau Valley it is one of the best preserved castles in South Tyrol. The castle has been in the Trapp family since the early 1500’s. The castle is not only still home to the Trapp family but it also houses biggest privet armory collection in Europe.

After an all day tour Perry gave Kate a little help climbing up the hill to Churburg.

Count Trapp was more than happy to take a picture with all the ladies of the trip.
