FAQs
|
Personal
Librarian Program
| We pair all students with a Librarian to provide
a personal point of contact and to work with them one-on-one to
help students learn about our resources, learn how to use them,
and conduct research for class projects and papers. This relationship
continues throughout the student's time at St. Andrews. |
Reference
Service
| We
provide assistance in locating, retrieving, and utilizing information
in various formats at all times when the Library is open. Come
in and ask for assistance, call for an appointment or contact your
Personal Librarian. |
Interlibrary
Loan (ILL)
| Something
you need not available at DeTamble Library? We can get it from
another library. This is our Interlibrary Loan service. Complete
the forms that are available at the Information Desk or contact
Mary McDonald at mhm@sapc.edu or
at 5023. |

Course
Reserves
| Reserves
are items which faculty members leave at the Library for use
of students in specific courses. Reserve items are shelved behind
the Information Desk. For the duration of the class, these items
circulate for limited In-Library or Overnight Use. All Reserve
items are searchable in the Catalog (http://catalog.sapc.edu )
by the faculty member's last name or the Class Name. All Reserve
materials must be checked out with a valid ID card, even when
used only in the Library. |
Library
Instruction
| We
teach: |
| Library
orientation sessions, library instruction sessions both in-class
and in-library, and either general or subject specific, and students
one-on-one through our Personal Librarian service. |
Library
Web Pages
| We
provide web pages that are tools to help students, faculty and
staff find basic information about the Library, and to find sources
of online information, both general and specialized, to assist
them in their research projects. |
