#No. 37 Limestone tennis spoils Knights 'Senior Day'
April 07, 2006 LAURINBURG, NC—Before Saturday’s match, St. Andrews head coach William Carter honored senior April Rowe (Elizabeth City, NC) on ‘Senior Day’. However, No. 37 nationally ranked Limestone College won the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference battle 8-1 at the Scotland County Tennis Complex.
Rowe, who played for years for the Knights, battled hard at No. 5 singles but was defeated 6-4, 6-1. Sophomore Kellie Milam (Emporia, KS) evened her singles record to 8-8 on the season with a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 3. After winning all three doubles matches, the Lady Saints won the other four singles matches in two sets. St. Andrews hosts CVAC rival Coker College on Monday at 3:00 p.m.

The Lady Saints improved to 18-7 overall and 8-0 in the CVAC, while the Knights fell to 2-14 and 1-8.
