THOMASVILLE, N.C.—St. Andrews Presbyterian College’s Kerrie Brown (6-5-4 overall, 3-2-3 conf.) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas women's soccer Player of the Week during week number seven in the 2007 season.
Junior forward Kerrie Brown scored three goals and provided two assists this week as the St. Andrews Presbyterian College women's soccer team extended its undefeated streak to seven games with a pair of wins and a tie.
Brown started the week off with back-to-back goals against Conference Carolinas rival Queens University of Charlotte in a 3-1 victory on Tuesday. Brown capped the week with another big performance in a 2-2 tie against Chowan University on Saturday. Brown scored the first goal of the game and then with St. Andrews trailing 2-1 late, she assisted on the game-tying score that kept the Knights out of the loss column for the month of October.
The Rochester, N.Y. native’s eight-point week doubled her team-high totals of 6 goals, 3 assists, and 15 points.
