Regionally ranked Lady Falcons soccer nips St. Andrews, 3-0

MISENHEIMER, NC—The Pfeiffer University women’s soccer team got goals from three different Lady Falcons, as the No. 10 Southeast Region team defeated visiting St. Andrews, 3-0, in Carolinas Virginia Athletics Conference action Saturday.

Pfeiffer improved to 5-3 overall and 4-1 in the CVAC while the Knights fell to 0-6 and 0-3.

Ashley Bowman put the Lady Falcons on the board in the 3rd minute. Kaylee Luebke added a first half goal to give Pfeiffer a 2-0 halftime lead. Maria Reis assisted on both first half tallies.

Michelle Vaudrieul completed the PU scoring in the 67th minute, scoring on a Cory Ragsdale heel kick pass.

St. Andrew goalkeeper Garrison Burton made three saves in net for the Knights. Junior Meghan McAuliffe had the SAPC’s only shot on goal.

The Knights return to action on Monday when they host CVAC opponent Converse at 4:00 p.m.
