St. Andrews Wrestling Takes Down Crusaders, 25-16November 10, 2011 SAW brought home six wins, with Casey Gashaw (Laurinburg, NC), Caleb Mitcler (Green Mountain, NC), and Denzel Vaughan (Dinwiddie, VA) each pulling out a win by decision. Eric Brown (Norfolk, VA) went in at 125 lbs. and earned a win by a forfeit as the Crusaders did not have a wrestler to send to the mat. Junior Richard Manwarren (Middleburg, FL) won by major decision by posting a 12-0 score over his competitor, while Kody Getkin (Danville, PA) grabbed the only pin for the Knights at the event. St. Andrews 25, Belmont Abbey 16 For their next event, the Knights will head to King College in Tennessee on Sunday, November 13, to wrestle in the King College Open. -GO KNIGHTS-

Belmont, NC- St. Andrews Wrestling (SAW) made the two-hour drive to Belmont on Tuesday for the second annual outdoor match held by the Belmont Abbey Crusaders. The Knights finished the dual with an impressive showing as they grappled to a 25-16 victory over the Crusaders.
