First St. Andrews wrestling camp a success!

LAURINBURG, NC—First year head wrestling coach Joe Baranik held the First Annual St. Andrews Wrestling Camp on July 24-27 in Harris Court located in the Athletic Building on the campus of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

In the inaugural four-day event, Coach Baranik had 26 wrestlers attend the instructional camp that stressed fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also teaching advanced technique. In addition, the camp covered conditioning, weight training, and nutrition. The campers also participated in multiple other events including swimming and a pizza party on the final day.

Camp Director Baranik considered the camp a big success and looks forward to the camp growing next year.
