Women's Lacrosse Coaching Staff

Lyndsey Boswell
Head Coach


Lyndsey Boswell enters her second season as the head coach of the St. Andrews Presbyterian College women’s lacrosse program after joining the Knights athletics staff in the summer of 2006.

In her first year at SAPC, Boswell tied the school record for wins in a single season with six victories in 2007. Boswell’s first year team also set school records for goals (198), assists (62), points (261), and goals against (183) in a single season. Boswell coached three CVAC Players of the Week, one First-Team All-CVAC selection, and one NCAA Division II All American Rookie Team Honoree.

Boswell comes to St. Andrews after spending two seasons serving as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) foe Pfeiffer University. In her time at with the Lady Falcons, Boswell gained valuable experience that helped her become a successful head coach. Boswell assisted in all aspects of Pfeiffer’s lacrosse program including conditioning, weight training, recruiting, coaching in practices/games, running study halls, and fundraising.

In just two years at Pfeiffer, Boswell helped guide the Lady Falcons to the CVAC title in 2005. Boswell coached three All-Americans, five All-Region players, five All-Conference players, and a Murphy Osborne winner (highest individual CVAC award). Boswell also coached 20 scholar-athletes for a program that boasted a team GPA that was ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division II.

Boswell’s coaching experience also includes numerous camps and clinics for the past several years.

Before coaching at Pfeiffer, Boswell accumulated an impressive playing career for the Lady Falcons. Boswell was a two-time IWLCA First Team All-American, four-time womenslacrosse.com All-American, NCAA Division II national leader in point and goals per game, 2004 CVAC Player of the Year, two-time Pfeiffer Athlete of the Year, multiple-time team MVP, six-time National Player of the Week, and three-time All-Region selection. As a team captain, Boswell helped lead Pfeiffer to a CVAC Championship in 2004 and holds the program’s record in points, goals and assists.

Boswell, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services at her alma mater in May of 2005, also serves as a faculty member at St. Andrews. Boswell currently resides in Aberdeen, N.C.

 
Lindsay Jackson
Assistant Coach


Lindsay Jackson joined the St. Andrews Presbyterian College athletics department as assistant women’s lacrosse coach in the fall of 2006.

Jackson assisted the Lady Knights to their best season in the programs history in 2007, as that team set numerous school records on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field. Jackson helps with all aspects of the SAPC women’s lacrosse program including recruiting, development, scouting, and fundraising.

Jackson was a four-year, two-sport letterwinner at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. Jackson’s athletic career included being a four-time All-Academic student-athlete for both the Lakers lacrosse and field hockey programs. Jackson was a team-MVP midfielder and captain for the lacrosse team. Jackson also played for a mixed college lacrosse team in an international tournament in Australia.

Prior to coming to St. Andrews, Jackson earned lacrosse and field hockey coaching experience by working a camp counselor/assistant coach and high school assistant coach.

Jackson was a Dean’s List and IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll honoree at Mercyhurst. Jackson graduated from her alma mater with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management with a concentration in Food and Beverage in May of 2006. Jackson currently resides in Aberdeen, North Carolina.
