Grand Lake, C.O. - St. Andrews Presbyterian College is pleased to announce the selection of Shana Schroeder to the IWLCA All-Region team for Division II. Schroeder was selected to the second team for the South Region.

Shana Schroeder, a junior defender on the women’s lacrosse team, led the Lady Knights and Conference Carolinas in ground balls per game with 4.75. In addition she also led the Nation in ground balls per game for a part of the season. Furthermore, Schroeder led the Lady Knights in caused turnovers with 35, also ranked 6 th in the Nation. She was also second on the team in draw controls with 34. She was selected to the Conference Carolinas Second Team All-Conference.

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association has honored 64 student-athletes in Division II with a selection on one of the All-Regional teams for 2011. These athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on May 26. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on June 11, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Associatio is a membership-led nonprofit association representing the nation’s intercollegiate women’s lacrosse coaches within Division I, II & III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The IWLCA is a 501c Non-Profit educational organization.
