Bears Run Past Knights December 5, 2011 Senior Brittany Roberts (Concord, NC) was determined to propel the Knights forward as she scored nearly half of St. Andrews’ points in tonight’s game. Knocking down two from around the arc, Roberts earned a total of 17 points. In addition to her three-pointers, she also posted four short range buckets and shot 75% from the line. Beneè Norton (Atlanta, GA) also performed at the foul line as she shot 100%, while Tyler Knight (Greenville, NC) tied with Roberts by going 3-4 at the line. Earning the second highest number of baskets for St. Andrews, Kimayah Fulcher (New Bern, NC) added seven points for SAU. While only scoring four points, sophomore guard Rachel Hewitt (Kokomo, IN) looked for opportunities for the team to score rather than for herself as she passed five assists in tonight’s game. Under the basket, the Knights had a hard time boxing out the Bears and were only able to grab 16 rebounds. However, Fulcher and Norton each got their hands up and slowed down the Bears by earning one block apiece. The Knights will host a rematch between the Bears of LRU on December 15. Tip-off is set for 4:00 PM at Harris Court on the campus of St. Andrews University. Come out and cheer on your Knights as they look to battle for a victory the second time around. -GO KNIGHTS-

Hickory, NC- Knights basketball made the journey to the foothills of the mountains today for a women’s basketball matchup against the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne University. The LRU defense was a little too much for the Knights to handle as the 89-41 loss took SAU to 0-6 overall.
