SAU Unveils Women's 2011-2012 Basketball Schedule October 14, 2011 Laurinburg, NC- The St. Andrews University Women’s Basketball program would like to announce the ’11-’12 season schedule. Head Coach Jessica Vanco and Assistant Coach Taylor Price are excited to begin the 24-game schedule in November. The ladies will kick off the season with an exhibition game on November 13, 2011 when they travel to East Carolina University to face the Pirates. A few days later, the Knights will make their first appearance at Harris Court. SAU will host Columbia College on November 16 at 5:30 PM for their home court debut. Throughout the rest of November and December the Knights will split their home and away games as they face teams from across the southeast. The last game before Christmas will be held in Laurinburg on Thursday, December, 15 at 4:00 PM. SAU will come back after the break and take the court on January 3, 2012 to start Conference Carolinas play. The Pfeiffer University Falcons will make their way to Laurinburg to mark the Knights’ first conference game of the season at 5:30 PM on that Tuesday. The squad will play 16 additional conference games throughout January and February. Seven of these games will be held at Harris Court on the St. Andrews campus. The final home game of the season will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012, when Knights will host the Trojans of Mount Olive College at 5:30 PM. The women’s basketball team and the entire SAU staff hopes to see you at Harris Court to cheer on your Knights throughout the upcoming season.
