GAFFNEY, S.C.—Senior center Jessy Perkins (Goldsboro, N.C.) had 11 points and seven points for visiting St. Andrews Presbyterian College but host Limestone College was able a dominating first half to take the Conference Carolinas women’s basketball game, 78-43, on Saturday evening.

The Lady Saints (14-12 Overall; 9-7 Conference Carolinas) out scored the Lady Knights (5-19; 4-13) 45-13 in the first 20 minutes to roll to the 35-point victory.

Limestone took advantage of poor shooting by SAPC in the first period to pull away. The Knights went 6-for-32 (18.8%) from the field, 0-for-9 (0.0%) from three-point distance, and 1-for-5 (20.0%) from the free throw line in the opening frame.
