INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—After posting two more wins in the region last week including an upset victory over then-No. 23 nationally ranked Anderson University, the St. Andrews women’s basketball team has moved up to No. 2 in the East Region Poll released on Wednesday by the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Committee.
The Lady Knights boast an impressive 13-4 overall record and an 11-2 mark in the East Region and are the top ranked team out of four Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference colleges. The other CVAC schools represented are No. 3 Anderson University, No. 5 Barton College, and No. 6 Pfeiffer University.
St. Andrews will try and sweep the season series against CVAC-leading Barton in Wilson, N.C., on Thursday.
