Janlique Vazquez is one of five freshmen on the 2007 St. Andrews volleyball team.

Vazquez is a defensive specialist from Gateway High School. Vazquez was a Rookie of the Year, Team MVP, and County Player of the Year in high school.

The Kissimmee, Fla., native is a fan of volleyball player Misty May and Criollas De Caguas Porto Rican volleyball team. ‘Jan’ likes eating Italian food; listening to Spanish music; and her favorite movie is ‘Lilo & Stitch’. The daughter of Pedro and Janette would like to visit Hawaii and the Bahamas and also enjoys softball, basketball, and the beach. “You could accomplish anything in life as long as you set your mind to it.”
