No. 4 Converse defeats No. 5 Belmont Abbey, 3-1, in CVAC Volleyball Tournament

LAURINBURG, NC—In the second round of the 2005 CVAC Volleyball Tournament No. 4 Converse College defeated No. 5 seed Belmont Abbey College 3-1 (30-24, 24-30, 30-26, 30-23) Saturday morning in Harris Court on the campus of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

The All Stars improved to 22-14 and will play the winner of the No. 1 Mount Olive/No. 8 Barton game Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Harris Court. The Crusaders end their season at 12-13.
