No. 8 Barton defeats No. 9 Anderson, 3-2, in CVAC Volleyball Tournament

LAURINBURG, NC—In the first round of the 2005 CVAC Volleyball Tournament No. 8 Barton College defeated No. 9 Anderson College 3-2 (23-30, 30-28, 30-26, 24-30, 15-11) Friday afternoon in Harris Court on the campus of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

The Bulldogs improved to 10-27 and will play No. 1 seed Mount Olive College Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. in Harris Court. The Trojans fell to 12-23.
