Lady Knights finish ninth in inaugural BMC Championships

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (02/13-16/08)—Freshman Sarah Supcoe (Charleston, W.Va.) had three top-10 finishes for St. Andrews Presbyterian College as the Lady Knights finished ninth out of 12 teams in the programs first Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships this past week at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club (hosted by Wingate University) from Thursday to Saturday, February 13-16. SAPC men’s swimming competes in first conference championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (02/13-16/08)—Freshman Dwight Richardson (Newport News, Va.) just missed qualifying for the NCAA National Championships by less than a half of a second in the 50 Yard Freestyle as the St. Andrews Presbyterian College men’s swim team finished 11th out of 12 colleges and universities in the 2008 Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships this past week at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club (hosted by Wingate University) from Thursday to Saturday, February 13-16. SAPC men’s swimming defeats Buffaloes

BRISTOL, Tenn. (01/26-27/08)—The St. Andrews Presbyterian College men’s swim team picked up its second victory of their inaugural season on Sunday afternoon defeating Milligan College in a double-dual meet at King College. Lady Knights make big splash with three more wins

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (12/02/07)—Freshman Sarah Supcoe (Charleston, W.Va.) had a perfect weekend winning 12 individual events for the St. Andrews Presbyterian College women’s swim team as the Lady Knights won a total of 30 events to earn victories in three of four meets on the road including a pair of victories over LaGrange College and a win at Warren Wilson College. Lady Knights swim team picks up first win of inaugural season

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (11/09/07)—The St. Andrews Presbyterian College women’s swim team won nine events against host Salem College en route to the squads first-ever dual meet victory by a score of 114-61 on Friday night. The Lady Knights dropped close battles against Guilford College, 97-93, and Lenoir-Rhyne College, 105-81, at the same time. Read More

Knights’ swimmers fall at Pfeiffer

MISENHEIMER, N.C. (11/03/07)—Freshman Sarah Supcoe (Charleston, W.Va.) won three individual races for visiting St. Andrews Presbyterian College but host Pfeiffer University won both dual meets on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Falcons won 118-59 while the Falcon men won 149-38. Read More

Saints swimming spoils St. Andrews first-ever dual meet

GAFFNEY, S.C. (10/27/07)—The St. Andrews Presbyterian College men’s and women’s swim teams competed in the programs inaugural dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Timken Aquatic Center against Limestone College. The hosts prevailed as the Lady Saints defeated SAPC 119-50, while the Saints men downed the Knights 128-48. Read More
