LAURINBURG, N.C.—The St. Andrews Presbyterian College softball team has officially rescheduled a quartet of Conference Carolinas doubleheaders against Lees-McRae College, Anderson University, Belmont Abbey College, and Limestone College due to inclement weather over the past couple weeks. Wingate University and UNC Pembroke twin bills also affected by the changes.
St. Andrews will host league rival Lees-McRae College on Monday, March 30 with the doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. The games were originally scheduled for March 14.
The Lady Knights will visit Anderson University (Anderson, S.C.) on Tuesday, April 7 and then turn around and host Belmont Abbey College on Wednesday, April 8. Both league double dips are scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
SAPC was scheduled to travel to Wingate University on Tuesday, April 7 but those games have been cancelled. The non-conference series against the Bulldogs will most likely not be rescheduled due to schedule limitations and conflicts.
The Knights have also rescheduled its road twin bill at Limestone College (Gaffney, S.C.) for Monday, April 13 at 2 p.m. SAPC was scheduled to host UNC Pembroke that day but the non-conference series had to be cancelled with priority going to league games. SAPC and UNCP may try and schedule a single game but nothing has been set as of Sunday.
