THOMASVILLE, N.C.—St. Andrews Presbyterian College’s Jerry Momoh (4-2-1 overall, 1-1 conf.) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas men's soccer Player of the Week during week number three in the 2007 season.
Senior midfielder Jerry Momoh scored a goal in each of St. Andrews men's soccer games this week en route to two road victories for the Knights. Momoh started the week with a goal at Conference Carolinas foe Pfeiffer University. Momoh's tally helped the Knights upset the regionally ranked Falcons and give SAPC its first league win.
Momoh capped the week with a goal and an assist at North Greenville. The Knights went onto the 4-2 victory with the help of Momoh's three-point day. Momoh scored the team’s second goal and assisted on the final score.
The Trenton, NJ native is tied for the team lead with nine points on the season and leads St. Andrews with four goals.
Momoh and St. Andrews will try for a third straight victory when they host Conference Carolinas foe Barton College on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
