First Southeast Region Poll
LAURINBURG, N.C.—The St. Andrews Presbyterian College men’s soccer team is ranked tied for eighth in the first NSCAA/adidas Southeast Regional Poll released on Tuesday.
The Knights, who were ranked as high as No. 5 last year, begin the season tied for eighth after starting the year with a 1-1 record. SAPC lost its opening game to Palm Beach Atlantic, 3-0, but bounced back the next day with a 3-2 victory at North Georgia. After the poll came out, St. Andrews improved to 2-1 on the season with a victory in their home opener against Brevard, 3-2, with a goal in the final two minutes.
The Knights will go for a third straight victory on Sunday when they host Florida Tech at 2:00 p.m.
