Daktronics All-Southeast Region Team

LAURINBURG, N.C.—St. Andrews Presbyterian College sophomore defender Jamin Ferris (Durham, N.C.) was named to the 2006 Daktronics Men’s Soccer All-Southeast Region Second Team announced on Tuesday.

Jamin Ferris played in all 21 games for the Knights on defense, helping St. Andrews to its most wins in the programs NCAA Division II era with 13. Ferris led the SAPC defense with four assists and six points and had the game-winning goal against NCAA elite-eight participant, Queens University of Charlotte. Ferris also helped the Knights post wins against nationally ranked UNC-Pembroke and Limestone. St. Andrews made a strong run at the CVAC Tournament Title (losing in a shootout in the finals) after Ferris and the Knights ‘D’ posted two consecutive 110-minute shutouts in playoff action.

Ferris has anchored a St. Andrews defense that had nine shutouts (first in the CVAC) and 1.08 goals against average (second CVAC).
