Philip Ratchford enters his first year in Sports Information at St. Andrews University. Ratchford serves as the primary media contact for all Knights Athletic varsity teams.

Ratchford was hired in June of 2011 and is responsible for the publicity and media relations of the St. Andrews Athletic Department. His duties include composing department press releases, creating online media guides, and managing and updating the Knights Athletics website.

In addition to composing athletic publications, Ratchford is also responsible for all game-day and season statistics for the Knights.

Before joining the St. Andrews Athletic Staff, Ratchford was a tennis player, therapeutic riding instructor, and student at St. Andrews. The 2011 graduate is a Gastonia, North Carolina native. Ratchford spent two years as the Women’s Volleyball manager and one year as a work-study in the Knights Athletic Department.
