LAURINBURG, N.C.—
Due to continued inclement weather throughout the Carolinas over the past week and into this upcoming weekend, the St. Andrews Presbyterian College athletics department was forced to make a myriad of schedule changes for men’s & women’s basketball, baseball, and softball detailed below.

The SAPC men’s and women’s basketball teams were scheduled to play a Conference Carolinas doubleheader at Lees-McRae College on Saturday but the games have been postponed until Tuesday, February 9 due to travel concerns. The Lady Knights will tip-off in Banner Elk, N.C., at 4 p.m. followed by the men’s team at approximately 6 p.m.

The St. Andrews baseball team has once again shifted its three-game Southeast Region series at Lander University because of wet field conditions. Saturday’s game has been cancelled and the Knights are now slated to start the series in Greenwood, S.C., with a Noon twin bill on Sunday followed by the series finale on Monday at 3 p.m.

The Diamond Knights have also rescheduled its home game against the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (postponed from February 3) for Tuesday, March 16 at 2 p.m.

East Stroudsburg University has decided to cancel its trip from Pennsylvania to the UNC Pembroke Softball Invitational forcing tournament officials to once again make changes to the round-robin competition. St. Andrews will now play a pair of games on both Saturday & Sunday. The Knights begin tourney play against host UNCP on Saturday at 4 p.m. followed immediately by a 6 p.m. game against West Virginia State University. SAPC concludes competition against Kutztown University (8:30 a.m.) and West Virginia State (12:30 p.m.) on Sunday.

St. Andrews Knights fans are encouraged to check the St. Andrews Official Athletics Website for the most up-to-date information on all 16 NCAA Division II sponsored sports at www.sapc.edu/athletics/athleti.php.
