TIGERVILLE, S.C.—Junior Gabriel Arraiz (Caracas, Venezuela) won the only match of the day for visiting St. Andrews Presbyterian College as North Greenville University posted an 8-1 NCAA Division II men’s tennis victory on Friday afternoon
The Crusaders won all three doubles matches and won the final five singles matches in straight sets to improve to 2-1 on the year while the Knights fell to 0-2.
Arraiz picked up his first win as SAPC at the top draw, sweeping Tomas Kurhajec by 6-4 and 6-3 scores.
St. Andrews will open up the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference portion of their schedule on Sunday when they host Anderson University at 1:00 p.m.
