ROCK HILL, SC—Junior attack Dalen Crouse of St. Andrews Presbyterian College (7-6 overall; 7-2 DSC) has been selected as the Deep South Conference (DSC) Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Crouse, a junior from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, posted a season-high seven goals and four assists in a 23-6 Deep South victory over Pfeiffer University. Crouse's dominating performance helped the Knights to a first-place tie in the league standings.
Crouse is amongst the SAPC leaders in all three major offensive categories with 17 goals, 12 assists, and 29 points.
Crouse and St. Andrews will try for two straight victories against Pfeiffer. The No. 1 seeded Knights host the No. 8 seeded Falcons on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the first round of the 2006 DSC Tournament.
