High Point, N.C.- St. Andrews Presbyterian College’s Daniel Shields has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse Player of the Week during week number eight in the 2011 season. The sophomore had an impressive week contributing to his team success against conference opposition. In the win against No. 10 Queens, Shields scored four goals leading the Knights to an overtime victory. In the win against Lees-McRae, Shields scored four goals and assisted one shot. The Mercer Island, Washington, native has been an offensive threat scoring multiple goals during the season. St. Andrews currently stand at 8-8 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
