Hartzell named DSC offensive player of the week
March 27, 2006 ROCK HILL, SC—Junior attack Dan Hartzell of St. Andrews Presbyterian College (6-0 overall; 6-4 DSC) has been selected as the Deep South Conference (DSC) Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Hartzell, a junior from Lacombe, Alberta, Canada, had a big week for the Knights, scoring eight goals and 14 points in a pair of conference wins. He had five goals and four assists in an 18-5 win over Catawba, then had three goals and two assists in a 13-9 win over Queens. Hartzell also won 10-of-16 face-offs in the two contests. |
