March 21, 2006

ROCK HILL, SC—Freshman goaltender Nate Hull of St. Andrews Presbyterian College (4-4 overall; 4-0 DSC) has been selected as the Deep South Conference (DSC) Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Hull, a freshman from Millersville, MD, played well in two conference games for the Knights. Hull made 10 saves in a 15-7 victory over DSC foe Belmont Abbey, and then had eight saves in a 14-9 win over DSC rival Wingate. Hull's two wins kept SAPC the lone remaining undefeated team in Deep South Conference play. Hull improved his rookie record in net to 3-0 in DSC and 3-3 overall.

The St. Andrews men’s lacrosse team will try and remain undefeated in conference play this week when they visit Catawba College (Salisbury, NC) on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and Queens University of Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
