Member Benefits

We would like to invite you to consider joining and becoming an active member in the  Knights Club, the official athletic fundraising organization for St. Andrews. The Knights Club has been in existence since 1981 and has been made up of many dedicated friends and alumni of St. Andrews who have a sincere interest in the athletics program and believe that excellence in academics, athletics and service to the community are not mutually exclusive; rather, they go hand in hand. SAPC has successfully demonstrated a commitment and integration of NCAA Division II Life in Balance position statement so far this academic year fall by:

  1. Academic Awards:

    1. Placing  83 student-athletes on the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll and 22 student-athletes on the Academic All-Conference team

    2. 1 Academic All-Region selection

  2. Athletic Awards:

    1. 2 NCAA National Qualifiers

    2. 12 All-Conference selections in 5 sports

    3. 3 All-Region Honorees

    4. 1 All-State College Division selection

  3. Community service engagement

    1. Habitat Day (14 of 18 participants were student-athletes)

    2. Scotland County Area Relay for Life

    3. Optimist Club Christmas Tree Sale

    4. Hosted Knights Fest, which raised over $8,000 for breast cancer research and awareness

    5. Make A Wish Foundation, a SAAC initiative with an obtainable goal over $1,000

    6. Toys for Tots

    7. National Consortium for Academic and Sports Outreach Honor Roll and Certificate of Recognition

  4. Personal Development

    1. Over 200 student-athletes attended and participated in Athletes 4 Hire Career Planning and Placement program

    2. Accepted into NCAA CHAMPS (CHallenging  Athletes Minds for Personal Success) program

    3. Membership in the National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS). NCAS is nationally recognized for training and encouraging outstanding student leaders to impact the youth of America, while displaying the character and integrity of people behind sport and serving as the social conscience behind college sport.
