SAU Knights Cage Mars Hill LionsDecember 15, 2011
Christian’s double-double resulted from his awareness of the court. In addition to putting up 10 points for SAU, Christian threw a phenomenal 16 assists this evening; leading his teammates to score under the basket and all around the arc. Dunkins earned his double-double by working hard on both offense and defense. Sinking five field goals from behind the arc, Dunkins found the hoop all throughout the game and earned a total of 23 points, the team high for the night. He also put his skills to work under the hoop as he grabbed 10 rebounds, three offensive and seven defensive.
Defensively, the Knights worked hard under the basket. As a team, SAU pulled down 39 total rebounds. Ryan Streater (Charlotte, NC) crashed the boards and earned nine rebounds, while Ross Williams (Washington, DC) snagged eight. The Knights have the next week off as they head home to enjoy the holiday season before they return for their final game of 2011. SAU will host the Dragons of the Virginia University of Lynchburg on December 30 at 7:00 PM. So be sure to come to Harris Court on Friday, December 30 and claim your seat for another exciting night of St. Andrews men’s basketball. -GO KNIGHTS-
