Knights' baskeball alumni Eichelberger signs with Halifax Rainmen
July 30, 2007 LAURINBURG, N.C.—Chad Eichelberger, who graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in 2006 and played two seasons with the Knights men’s basketball team, has signed a professional contract to play basketball with the expansion Halifax Rainmen of the American Basketball Association (ABA) on Wednesday.

Eichelberger played his junior and senior seasons (2004/05 and 2005/06) at St. Andrews. Eichelberger averaged 10.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game over that span and was a CVAC All-Conference selection in 2006.
