"I believe my liberal arts education appealed to a broader range of potential employers, and certainly helped after I started working. Being more well-rounded allowed me to interact with a wide range of peers, customers, etc. in a better manner and also to understand and work with differences in people. I credit the core general education curriculum (it was called SAGE when I was there) for providing this solid and diverse background, and I do not believe this can be achieved at a large university."
