"I enjoyed attending school in my own community. a liberal arts education enabled me to have an open attitude, ask questions, and develop a willingness to accept new ideas, and varied perspectives. These are lifelong skills that encourage thinking and the examination of one's own and others' beliefs, actions, and values. I gained the confidence, and skills necessary for a positive future. In addition, I appreciated the fact that the St. Andrews Community is one where faculty, staff, and students all know one another. I liked being known by name and not a number." (2006) |
