Please read this checklist carefully, use it to keep track of your progress, and bookmark this page for future reference (or maybe put a copy on the refrigerator so you and your family can track your progress!).  Important steps, some with deadlines, are bulleted below.  You will receive specific instructions regarding each of these steps.

ST. ANDREWS ADMITTED STUDENT CHECKLIST

ADMISSIONS

• Confirm your plans to attend St. Andrews with your deposit of $250
• Send final OFFICIAL transcripts
• Opportunity Profile Sheet with 2 recommendations

FINANCIAL AID

• File FAFSA
• Notify your Financial Aid counselor of any additional scholarships you have received
• Sign your acceptance, or modification, of your award letter
• Sign your Master Promissory Note, if you are utilizing loans
• Complete Entrance Loan Counseling, if you are utilizing loans

ACADEMICS

• Complete Early Class Registration
• Read Summer Reading and complete assignment
• Activate your campus computer and email accounts

HOUSING

• Complete housing contract
• Once roommate information is received, contact roommate to coordinate room furnishings
• Identify your campus mailing address and telephone number and give to family

HEALTH

• Complete Student Health Summary, including immunizations and physical
• If an athlete, also complete Athletic Physical
• If an equestrian, also complete Equestrian Physical
• Decide with your parents if you will be covered under their insurance or if you will purchase health insurance through St. Andrews (information will be included your first bill)

SECURITY

• Pre-register your car

BILLING

• When you receive your bill, submit full payment for balance due for the current term

ORIENTATION

• Pre-register for Orientation, communicating how many family members will be with you
• Attend Orientation
