|The Highland Players|
In the Visual & Performing Arts major, students may have a concentration in theatre arts. Theatre at St. Andrews has been an always changing program over the years.
St. Andrews puts on at least two main productions each year, one in the fall and one in the spring, with other performances often done by Highland Players, a student run organization. In addition to putting on productions, students in the theatre arts program at St. Andrews will take classes on a variety of subjects about theatre. Examples of courses you might take include:
-Intro to Theatre
Students are also encouraged to do independent studies which can focus on any number of subject areas such as dramaturgy, lighting, or scene painting. Students may also do any projects, internships or community outreaches that they desire.
