St. Andrews offers both B. S. and B. A. degrees in Chemistry while also allowing students the opportunity to pursue a Specialized Program of Study in BioChemistry. Students receive hands-on instrumentation experience and perform undergraduate research. Students are also taught how to search chemical literature, follow and learn from scientific presentations, and give effective oral presentations on research topics. The Chemistry Department also offers support to non-science majors in completing their undergraduate requirements.
