The remainder of the major contract is negotiated individually and generally focused on upper and advanced levels of studio work. Students are actively encouraged to complete an internship during the junior or senior year. Students who pursue contract majors in the visual arts focus on a particular area of emphasis in studio art. For instance, below is a sample contract major:
